Traditionally, lignin for industrial use comes from the byproducts of the pulp and paper industry. This type of lignin, known as lignosulfonate, contains a significant amount of sulfur (3.5-8.0%).
In contrast, rubber seed lignin is made from the organosolv process, and organosolv lignin offers a distinct advantage. It’s sulfur-free and high-purity lignin-derived through a single-step process. This eliminates the need for additional purification steps commonly required for lignosulfonates before they can be used in various applications.
We can produce 2 shades color of lignin: the first one is light color lignin, and the second one is dark color lignin. Lignin color is significant for several applications, impacting both aesthetics and functionality.
